FEATURES • Introduction to the basic components of a basic elevator system • Operation of the PLC controller unit • Operation of components of the system such as encoder, motor & drives, mechanical parts & etc. • Identifying the I/O interface of the controller unit • Programming the PLC controller CPU (program settings, editing, downloading) • Running the program to simulate program end result • Troubleshooting program • Fault-finding & troubleshooting SPECIFICATION • Main controller unit: OMRON Programmable Logic Controller CPU(Total inputs: 24 points, total outputs: 24 points) • PLC controller unit link to host computer via USB interface • System Input voltage source: 240VAC/50Hz • Built-in 24VDC & 12VDC power supply • Simulates a four(4) level basic elevator system • One high torque DC motor coupled to an encoder for controlling the movement of the cabin(lifter) unit • Four high torque DC motors are used to control the door's open/close operation for all the 4 floors. • Limit switches are incorporated for door open/close sensing and cabin homing location. • User's input pushbuttons available for simulation of cabin destination and also floor calling request(8 pushbuttons, 8 lamp indicators) • Up/Down cabin movement lamp indicators • Seven segment display module for cabin floor position • Emergency pushbutton for immediate system stop/halt • Program supports manual mode for easy system maintenance and troubleshooting • System enable user to adjust the cabin stop position by adjusting the PLC memory table program • Programming using Windows based CX-ONE/CX-Programmer PLC software • Relays are incorporated to enable the operation of each of the DC motor operations • Motor rating: 12VDC/1A, Approx 17 rpm, high torque type • Relays rating: DPDT (MY2N), 24VDC coil voltage • All connection between PLC and elevator base using 4mm connecting leads OPTIONAL ITEM • CX ONE Ver.4 SOFTWARE MANUAL & ACCESSORIES • Operation / User Manual x 1 • Lab Experiment Manual (with answer) x 1 • Power Cord Cable x 1 • Connecting Lead x 1 • USB Programming Cable x 1 • Spare Fuse X 1
